| Description |
| The high-tension designs of my freestanding and installation sculptures in metal, often deal with concepts of implied movement, transformation, location and self-awareness. I create a subtle visual play for the viewer using three prominent elements: contrast, repetition and focus on line. Through these themes, I strive to make the viewer aware of borders and grasp an overall concept of place. Each sculpture is uniquely created in an effort to transform perceptions of traditional art and self-awareness.
The clean elegance of my three-dimensional line works, make them appropriate for both residential and commercial interiors. Additionally, much of my larger work is suitable for exterior applications such as garden or urban accenting.
Commissions for all size work is welcome. Artist is available for personal delivery and installation upon request.

| Background |
| An Iowa native, I attended Cornell College where I became captivated by art. I studied advanced studio techniques as well as art history and conceptual theory. Since then, the majority of my professional artistic endeavors have been explorations in both two & three-dimensional metals, most notably freestanding, hanging and installation sculpture. Much of the work I’ve done over the last few years has been large-scale civic exhibitions in cooperation with cities throughout the Midwest, with a number of gallery and street-level showings across, Iowa, Colorado, Kansas, Illinois and Indiana. |
